Practical notes for this marketplace.

These pages explain how to use the information Sleekdomains actually publishes. They are not market research. The asking-price page lists the fields on a listing and how to read the printed price. It does not appraise a name, and none of these pages publish comparable sales.

Choosing a business domain

How to choose a .com for a business from the fields Sleekdomains actually shows: length, words, a trademark note, and the asking price. No comparable sales.

Evaluating a domain name

How to read a Sleekdomains listing: asking price, rent-to-own schedule, trademark note, and the fields that are intentionally absent. No appraisal and no sales comps.

What to check before a domain transfer

A buyer and seller checklist before a .com moves. Sleekdomains is not the registrar, a request is not a transfer, and the registrar steps are not defined yet. The seller payout target is 5 business days after payment clears and the transfer is confirmed.

How rent-to-own prices work

How a Sleekdomains rent-to-own price is calculated from the listed 24-month amount, with a 0% Sleekdomains buyer fee. Card processing is added to each payment. Default, payoff, and refund terms are not written yet.

Buying a domain from its owner

How to buy a listed .com from its owner on Sleekdomains: find the listing, choose Buy now or Make Offer, pay the asking price plus checkout fees, and plan the registrar transfer or push. Check WHOIS age, a trademark search, and past use before you pay. A request does not charge a card.

How much is a domain worth

Length, dictionary words, brandability, commercial intent, and the .com extension, and how to sanity-check a Sleekdomains asking price. No appraisal and no comparable sales. Rent-to-own is the listed schedule, not a valuation.

Domain marketplace fees

Sleekdomains sellers pay 5%. A first listing submitted on or before January 31, 2027 pays 0% for 6 months after approval, then 5%. Buyers pay escrow and card processing fees on top of the listed price. Rent-to-own card fees are added to each monthly payment.
